Review | Spiezia Rose & Vanilla Face Oil

Thursday, August 28

Some of you have been asking about the face oil I used in my latest Pamper Night video, so this is it. I was lucky enough to be asked by Spiezia if I'd like to try a couple of their products, and I jumped at the chance. They are one of my favourite organic brands for both their wonderful ethics and amazing ingredients, and one of my picks was their Rose & Vanilla Face Oil.

Ingredients

Buxus Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheatgerm) Oil, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Petal Extract, Rosa Damascena Essential Oil, Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla) Pod Extract

100% organic

The Face Oil

As soon as you open this, you can't ignore the beautiful packaging. Frosted fuchsia pink glass and aluminium screw lids, with delicate silver lettering on the front. The contents are just as beautiful. With a base of jojoba oil, this is perfect for balancing out your natural oil production, as jojoba oil most closely represents our body's own sebum. It has a very soft, mildly sweet fragrance that is relaxing and uplifting. The oil is thick enough to feel luxurious, but it's not greasy at all and sinks into the skin almost immediately, leaving it feeling plump and healthy. Since using this I've noticed a significant decrease in blackheads and little pimples, my skin tone is even and my pores are reduced. I often get a few hormonal breakouts underneath my jawline, but this month I haven't had even a bit of redness.

I love how few ingredients there are, and how pure they are. They don't play around stripping this and then adding that, instead they truly nourish the skin and let it do it's own thing naturally. Products like this allow your skin to be the best it can be, without the need for unnecessary ingredients. I suffer from oily/combination skin and would highly recommend this to help keep your skin happy, balanced and glowing.

The face oil retails at £21.95 but you can purchase it from Naturisimo for £17.56.

  2. I got to sample this and I'm not usually a fan of rose so was pleasantly surprise how much I enjoyed the scent. It's on my list to buy but I just want to finish up my other oils first :) I adore the packaging

    1. I really don't like the scent of rose but this doesn't smell like it. More of a subtle, sweet scent rather than sickly floral :) x
