For many of you, this will need no introduction. Schmidt's are fast becoming an icon in natural beauty and skincare, having created a natural deodorant from the purest of ingredients. And it works! I may not be the ideal tester of deodorant, having little to compare it to, but last weekend my little pot of Schmidt's accompanied me and my best friend Emily to Secret Garden Party festival. Emily had a can of Sure deodorant/anti-perspirant, and it never left her bag the entire weekend. The first evening I suggested she try some of the Schmidt's deodorant, and since then both of us used it religiously. Our days consisted of recovering and our nights of heavy dancing. We didn't shower from Thursday through to Monday, and I can honestly say that Schmidt's was probably the reason we didn't worry about smelling and didn't feel a desperate need for a shower. It withstood one of the hottest weekends of the year with no showers and plenty of dancing, and it passed with flying colours. I've already ordered Emily a pot, and will be replacing mine before it runs out.
The deodorant is a firm texture, which softens as you rub it into your skin. I have the Lavender + Sage, which smells beautiful. It eliminates any body odour, instead replacing it with a gentle fragrance that is subtle and not overpowering. I am already a convert to Schmidt's (and deodorant now!) and can't wait to try their other scents. Are there any other natural deodorants that you think are as good as Schmidt's?
The deodorant retails at $9 (Approximately £5!)

DeleteThis sounds amazing, as does the Secret Garden Party festival! I've seen other bloggers rave reviews on this too, I currently use one from Etsy but with postage it costs me £10 so its not that cheap!
ReplyDeleteAh Amber you should definitely give this a try, think you would love it :) x
DeleteI got this too and I love it! Great review x
ReplyDeleteThank you <3 it's amazing isn't it? :)
DeleteAhhh I've had one of these in my basket for months and haven't checked out yet - I definitely use deodorant/need deodorant so I'm sooo intrigued by all these cream ones. Thanks for the excellent review! :) x
ReplyDeleteNo problem my love! This passed the festival test so for me is a winner, I'd definitely recommend it :) x
DeleteI also got Schmidt's deo on July's Petit Vour box, I wanted to try it for ages because of the rave reviews.I also really enjoy the Vanilla Strawberry from Green Love, it smells amazing but I only wish the scent would linger on a little bit longer ;) x
ReplyDeleteI know I was so excited when I saw it in the box, I haven't heard of that one from Green Love, will have to investigate :) x
DeleteBest natural deodorant I have try! Love the ylang ylang one and the lime is also lovely! :) xx
ReplyDeleteSo many people say the same! I'd love to try the lime one, in fact I'd love to try them all :) x
DeleteThank you for the review!! I have been using Soapwalla for over 2 years now and Iove it, it works like a charm. This one is more affordable, I think I will definitely give it a try! Another one I've been meaning to try was Crunchy Betty's Kokomo Cream Deodorant but it seems she stopped doing it... (https://www.etsy.com/transaction/214478047?ref=shop_review).
ReplyDeleteAh Soapwalla was another one I'd heard great things about! Schmidt's does an amazing job for the money, it's such good value! x
