Spiezia are an incredible organic skin care brand that I don't hear enough about. They are committed to creating beautiful, sustainable beauty products that are good for both our skin and the planet. This cleansing balm is one of my favourites, being 100% organic and made from a blend of nourishing and exotic oils and flower extracts. Nothing harsh or toxic is used, and it leaves the skin feeling so refreshed, clear and healthy. I featured this in my first youtube video back in February, but I think it's time for it's own spotlight...

The Cleansing Balm
As soon as I've used this balm, my skin feels soft, plump and velvety smooth. It cleans the skin so gently, yet manages to remove make up and dirt from deep down, helping clear blackheads and reduce spots. The beautiful blend of oils and flower extracts nourishes your skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and completely healthy. It's a luxurious version of the oil cleansing method, infusing the oils with the benefits of flowers and essential oils to give your skin a pamper each morning and night. I massage this into my face and around my eyes, and gently wipe it off in circular motions with a warm muslin cloth. It takes eye make up off so easily that no rubbing is needed, and doesn't sting the eyes at all. Unlike other balms which smell of lavender or other floral scents, this is a warm and spicy mix of eucalyptus and clove, which I admit took me a while to like. I think it's just because it's so different to what I'm used to, but now I love how exotic it smells. My oily and break out prone skin responds best to oil based cleansing balms, and this is up there with my love of Balm Balm's Frankincense Cleansing Balm. As they don't need to use water, there are no preservatives needed, making this balm full of pure and honest ingredients - exactly what all skincare should be like!
I have my eye on so many other things from Spiezia, their face and body oils look amazing, as well as their facial toners. Have you tried anything from them that you'd recommend?

I was always curious about Speiza but completely blown away when I got to try everything at the LNLO show. They really reminded me of the very first green skincare brand ever fell in love with which went out of business - you can really tell how high the quality is when you try them! Once I use up some of my stash I definitely see myself being a life long customer.
