The Concealer
I didn't know what to expect from this but I was happily surprised. The concealer is incredibly lightweight with an impressive coverage. It feels like a cream when in the pot, and blends into a powder-like consistency once on your skin, keeping it firmly in place and preventing any creasing or caking. It feels so soft and is really beautiful to use, with the powder like finish making it one of the longest wearing concealers I've ever tried - a good 8 hours of being outside the house and working. This finish is wonderful for my normal to oily skin, but I'm not sure dry skins will like it so much. I found it covered my dark circles well and didn't dry out some blemishes like I thought it would. It's unlike any other concealer I've used and I'm really impressed with it. Unfortunately the shade selection is very limited, with only two shades to choose from. I wear At Dawn which is for fair and light skin tones, with At Dusk being their only other option for medium skin tones. If you fall either side of this spectrum, and have either very fair or very dark skin, then I don't think these shades will suit you very well. Aside from this, I would highly recommend trying this concealer. It has some great ingredients and is by far the best organic concealer I've tried.

Have you tried anything by Studio 78? Or is there anything you'd recommend? Their foundation looks interesting and their cream eye shadows look beautiful!

I haven't tried anything from Studio 78 yet, but I kind of have my eye on one of their lipsticks from the "wedding" themed colour range.
ReplyDeleteThe concealer sounds very good. I like these cream-to-powder type textures. I think they wear very well.
I'm pretty impressed with this, really good coverage. I have my eye on one of their foundations next :)
DeleteIt reminds me of MAC studio finish concealer, but a natural one ^^
ReplyDeleteI never tried any Studio78 product but there's a shop that carries that brand nearby, I'll take a look next time I go there =)
Ah excellent! No where near me stocks it, I have to purchase online :( x
DeleteI have wondered about this product for a while so thanks for the great review :) I definitely do want to try it in the future and their cream eyeshadows also sound lovely x
ReplyDeleteNo problem lovely <3 I also have my eye on their eyeshadows, their foundations sound promising too :) x
DeleteSounds great, I'm using the RMS one at the minute & I bought it cheaper when I went to NY but it's pretty darn expensive. This one isn't as much though so I may have to try this when I run out of RMS! x
ReplyDeleteHaha we should do a swap as I'm going to try the RMS one after this :p x
DeleteHey thanks for this review, as I've been wondering what their products are like for a while! I was drawn to their plastic free pretty glass packaging. Leanne x
ReplyDeleteNo problem at all :) <3 Hmm their packaging looks nice but it falls apart! It's happened to me and at least 2 other people I know of. Such a shame as the rest of the product is lovely x
