Smokey Eye Look | Organic & Natural Products

Sunday, August 17

In a recent video I spoke about the make up I take with me when travelling or on-the-go - my most basic and essential items. I created this little smokey eye look using only these products, showing how a stripped down make up kit doesn't have to be boring! [Excuse the wild brows, they're in need of a tweeze or two ;) ] Most of these products you will have already seen featured on my blog; I use them daily and love them all.

What I used:

After applying my Inika Foundation with my hands, I used the Studio 78 concealer under my eyes to hide my dark circles, before going in with Vapour Organics Concealer on the outer third of my eye and the inner corner to brighten and lift the area. I then used my Green People Eye Shadow in Owl Taupe all over my lid before blending in Mink Brown into the outer corner. I then used an angled brush and applied Mink Brown to my upper and lower lash line, blending it out to create a softer and smokier look. I did this a couple of times to build colour and depth. I then applied my Green People Eye Pencil along the outer lower lash line and the full length of my lower waterline. I blended this out some more, before applying multiple coats of my Kjaer Weis mascara for voluminous, dramatic lashes.

Hope you enjoyed reading about my go-to look for when I want something a little more dramatic than usual :)

  6. Great look and great products! May I just suggest that you also take a picture with your eyes closed or looking downwards next time so we can see your eye shadow better? Other than that I have no wishes :)
