Review | 'Studio 78' Off We Go Concealer

Thursday, May 29

Studio 78 are a natural and organic make up brand that I don't hear many things about. Based in Paris, the ethos behind Studio 78 is to create high performing and beautiful make up that is organic and natural, but with the luxurious finish that so many of us have come to love from traditional make up. There are a few things from this line that stand out, but I was particularly interested in their concealer.  It promises to be particularly good at reducing the appearance of dark circles, and also at rejuvenating and moisturising the eye area.

The Concealer

I didn't know what to expect from this but I was happily surprised. The concealer is incredibly lightweight with an impressive coverage. It feels like a cream when in the pot, and blends into a powder-like consistency once on your skin, keeping it firmly in place and preventing any creasing or caking. It feels so soft and is really beautiful to use, with the powder like finish making it one of the longest wearing concealers I've ever tried - a good 8 hours of being outside the house and working. This finish is wonderful for my normal to oily skin, but I'm not sure dry skins will like it so much. I found it covered my dark circles well and didn't dry out some blemishes like I thought it would. It's unlike any other concealer I've used and I'm really impressed with it. Unfortunately the shade selection is very limited, with only two shades to choose from. I wear At Dawn which is for fair and light skin tones, with At Dusk being their only other option for medium skin tones. If you fall either side of this spectrum, and have either very fair or very dark skin, then I don't think these shades will suit you very well. Aside from this, I would highly recommend trying this concealer. It has some great ingredients and is by far the best organic concealer I've tried.

The Price - £21.50

You can buy the concealer from Being Content for £20, as well as Naturisimo for £21.50 with free worldwide shipping.

Have you tried anything by Studio 78? Or is there anything you'd recommend? Their foundation looks interesting and their cream eye shadows look beautiful!

x

*This is not a sponsored post. The concealer was purchased with my own money & my pinto is 100% honest*

  1. I haven't tried anything from Studio 78 yet, but I kind of have my eye on one of their lipsticks from the "wedding" themed colour range.

The concealer sounds very good. I like these cream-to-powder type textures. I think they wear very well.

I never tried any Studio78 product but there's a shop that carries that brand nearby, I'll take a look next time I go there =)

  4. Sounds great, I'm using the RMS one at the minute & I bought it cheaper when I went to NY but it's pretty darn expensive. This one isn't as much though so I may have to try this when I run out of RMS! x

    1. No problem at all :) <3 Hmm their packaging looks nice but it falls apart! It's happened to me and at least 2 other people I know of. Such a shame as the rest of the product is lovely x
